There’s an ‘Advanced’ version on the way with a sleek midfoot strap, but before those hit retail, here’s a look at the new Air Jordan L’Style II. An update from last year’s model with the crazy jigsaw puzzle piece-like closure, the L’Style II comes to you in a Jordan Brand favorite: black patent leather. The entire upper is blacked out, save the ‘JORDAN’ tongue insignia, which matches a white/white sole for a nice clean look you might be able to pass off as a dress shoe. Check out more images after the jump and grab a pair today from kickinair.com.

Here’s a look at a recently designed Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by a gentleman who clearly knows the meaning of ‘high contrast’. Not only do Wesley Brown’s one-of-one AF1s manage to have every shade seemingly exploding off of a white base, but he’s been able to bring together two diametrically opposed design themes for one dope Bespoke. It probably didn’t take looking at the dubraes on these joints to realize the colorway is inspired by the Phoenix Suns, but to mix that with the Air Jordan III’s Elephant print only serves as a reminder of how MJ and company vanquished Sir Charles and the Suns back in ‘93. All of that history and a bangin’ colorway makes for one of the best Bespokes we’ve seen and makes us wonder if some genius out there could somehow blend the Lakers and Celtics in one cohesive design.

Most kids cringe at the implication when back to school shopping starts to ramp up each July, but Jordan heads are looking forward to September. It’s not necessarily for the books and homework and super-cheap lunches, but for something that reminds many of us of school days gone by. The Air Jordan IX originally released in this black, Dark Charcoal and True Red colorway back in 1994, and the retro drop set for the end of Q3 2010 is a perfect reproduction. They’re sure to be a tough cop when they hit retailers on 9/4, but you can not only avoid the rush but wow your homies with an early hookup when you cop them already from kickinair.com.

The Air Jordan 1 High Retro is Jordan Brand’s cornerstone ‘lifestyle’ model, a basketball shoe whose design has so thoroughly permeated fashion that we accept it as an outfit anchor. With a wider range of colorways than pretty much every other JB model, the AJ1 is something like JB’s Dunk or Air Force 1. Here are two new styles for August 2010 that go in completely opposite directions, but with equally satisfying ends. The tonal brown joints with burgundy and lime green hits are a lesson in color theory that feature a cool new scored suede on the underlay, while the tonal grey joints feature quite a bit of nubuck, both perfed and smooth. Check out closeups of both pairs after the jump and stick with kickinair.com for updates on two of the hottest AJ1 High Retros to release in a long while.
